Professional Communication Lecturer
I am writing this testimonial to provide reference to the skills and demeanor of Nguyen Bao Ngoc, an undergraduate student I’ve had the privilege of teaching in the Professional Communications Program at RMIT University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Ngoc has been a student in three of my classes, all of the contextual variety, wherein students identify, evaluate, and critically analyze cultural and theoretical practices in local and international contexts.
As my student, Ngoc consistently demonstrated the necessary aptitude to succeed as a professional communicator. She was always motivated and eager to improve, as evidenced by her desire to seek and implement feedback. In class, she was a reliable contributor and was ready to assist her colleagues, regardless of the assigned task. Furthermore, in her assessments she consistently exhibited an ability to apply theory and think critically about a range of issues; her submitted assessments were always of a high caliber and demonstrative of an author well versed in the course’s subject matter and requirements.
To conclude, in my estimation Ngoc is an engaged, thoughtful, and reflective thinker, as well as a dependable teammate, all of which are necessary characteristics to succeed in contemporary workplaces.
